How we use donations

For over 30 years the Sobell House Hospice has given care and support to those affected by life-limiting illness in and around Oxfordshire. During a typical year the Hospice provides approximately 3,000 home care visits, 500 in-patient admissions and 3,000 day-centre visits. All of the Hospice’s services are provided free to those who need them.

Running the Hospice currently costs over £3million every year, so to continue its work of helping patients, and their families and friends, through a time of pain and sorrow, we rely on your generosity and support.

Some of the costs of running Sobell House

  • £80 one home visit by a nurse
  • £100 two music therapy sessions
