Ok I’m interested tell me more.
The event is a 2-hour endurance race for teams of four.
The entire event including practice and prize giving will take in the region of 3-3.5 hours
It is limited to 10 teams so please sign up quickly to avoid disappointment.
The karts are 200cc and can travel up to 40mph
Rogue Racing's indoor track is 380 metres long and consists of 2 long straights and 8 competitive corners which results in close racing. Overtaking is possible on all sections of the track - if you have the bottle!
All the safety instructions are explained during the Pre-Race Instruction Video, which is shown to all drivers before any racing takes place.
All proceeds will help Sobell House care for and support those members of the Oxfordshire community affected by terminal illness.

How does it work?
Simply teams of four (or five) compete against each other in a 2-hour endurance race. The winning team will be the team that completes the most laps in the allotted time.

Each team has one kart and it is up to the teams to decide how long each driver is on the track for, (so if you’ve got Michael Schumacher on your team just send him out and the rest of you can go down the pub.) although 15 minutes stints are the recommended time.

Can I have more than four drivers?
Yes, you can have a team of five (which makes the costs cheaper) but it does mean that each driver will have less time in the kart.

Will I get a chance to practice beforehand?
Yes each driver will have a chance to drive a few practice laps beforehand. This also helps us time them and decide which team will get pole position and head the start grid

Can I bring the family?
Of course! The more the merrier. The track has an upper viewing gallery as well as some limited space trackside to cheer on your team/friends/family.
However all ‘drivers’ must be over the age of 17.

OK so what’s the damage?
£200 per team, simple as that. £100 deposit to guarantee your team’s place.
The balance is payable on the night
If any teams would like to fundraise on top of that then of course the charity would be over the moon and we’ll be more than happy to help your fundraising with sponsor forms, advice on online fundraising pages, etc etc.
Again if you choose to spread that cost across 5 drivers that’s fine but it will mean less time driving for those team members.

Right I’ve always fancied myself as a Stirling Moss - I’m in, what do you need now?
Call us for a registration form to complete and return it to us with a (non-refundable) deposit of £100 (cheques payable to 'Sobell House Hospice Charity Ltd' or call us on 01865857007 to pay by card) and confirm your place to:
