Lights of Love

  • 13th July 2013

We are now live and taking applications for this year's Oxford Moonlight Stroll

This year's event takes place on the 13th July and will have a sci-fi theme so pull on those Darth Vader costumes, don your Doctor Who scarves and join us on a Starry Trek through the streets of Oxford in aid of the Sobell House Hospice Charity!

Date and Time:
Saturday 8th December 2012, 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm
Location:
Churchill Hospital, Headington, Oxford

Every Christmas, a giant Lights of Love Tree is erected at the Churchill Hospital covered in lights in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.

The Lights of Love Tree will be lit on Saturday 8th December at 3.30 pm.  A short service will be held near to the tree and guests will have an opportunity to view the Books of Remembrance.  You are very welcome to join us at the service and take part by dedicating a light.

The Lights of Love is open to everyone, not just for people who have died at Sobell House.  If you are not able to attend the service, you can still dedicate a light, and your message will be on the tree all over the Christmas period.

Packs are available from the charity office by calling 01865 857007 or emailing mail@sobellhospice.org
