We are delighted to announce that London Welsh has chosen Sobell House Hospice and Help for Heroes as its official Charity Partners for the 2014/15 Aviva Premiership season.

London Welsh CEO Mike Stevens said: “I am very pleased to be able to confirm Sobell House Hospice and Help for Heroes as London Welsh’s official Charity Partners for the 2014/15 season.

When choosing our two official Charity Partners for this season, it was of paramount importance to London Welsh that one of our partners was Oxford based. As a Club, we feel it’s essential for us to support local charities and Sobell House Hospice does a fantastic amount of good and unseen work in the community in Oxford.

London Welsh looks forward to working very closely with all of the staff at Sobell House Hospice during the course of the 2014/15 season and I’ve no doubt this will prove to be a very rewarding and mutually beneficial relationship.”

The 2014/15 Aviva Premiership season will see Sunday afternoons at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford become synonymous with London Welsh RFC, with the Club having committed to playing its home games at the Kassam Stadium for the next three years.

The Club continues to reinforce its relationship with the people, businesses and communities across Oxfordshire and has adopted the strap-line ‘Premiership Rugby in Oxford - Be part of it’.
